Dr David Livingstone – pioneer, missionary and explorer, born in Scotland and died “lost” in Zambia, who gave an inspirational speech at Cambridge in England which led ultimately to the end of the slave trade around the globe. His legacy had a huge impact on the history of Zanzibar.
